THE CELLAR
The cellar of La Nascosta is certainly one of the most representative elements of the estate.
Welcome to La Nascosta's Wine Club, a space reserved for lovers of our wine who have discovered and appreciated our work, sharing with us the passion for the lands of Val d'Orcia. Our company, immersed in the unspoiled beauty of the Sienese countryside, has been built on years of dedication and craftsmanship; now we are pleased to open the doors to a selected group of people who wish to forge a deep connection with our winery.
Vinification room
Consistent with the different varieties, the grapes are separately treated and aged in steel and cement vats or in tonneaux (micro-vinification). Using the modern technologies, such as full temperature and humidity control, and careful and continuous professional follow-up, the wines are accompanied in their evolution to achieve the highest quality end-product.
THE BARRIQUE CELLAR
The barrique cellar is equipped with a system that allows precise thermo-hygrometric control of the environment. La Nascosta, after a long work carried out with international Tonnelerie, has decided to invest the aging in wood on 500 liter Tonneaux.
The ambient air that envelops the wood in the tonneaux is periodically treated so that the humidity rate is optimal for the correct exchange of oxygen and aromas during the entire aging process.
Thanks to a patented system, the air is periodically treated so that the bacterial percentage in the air does not produce molding processes on the surfaces
